It's Christmas Time in the City!

Today was the Christmas Spectacular at the Temple in New York City. So my dad dropped me off across the street from DHQ and then parked in the parking lot. When I got into the temple I realized that I didn't have my phone. So I figured that I left it in the car so my dad told me to go back to the garage and get it. So I go back and there is one older kinda shady man there and a younger man. I told them that my dad just brought his car in and I left my phone in it and the older guy said to me "well I just parked it in the basement (then he held my arm) we can go down there and get it." I was immediately like "no thanks, I will just wait till later." I have never walked so fast in my life! hahaha... So then I went out to eat with a couple friends and when I got back to the temple to find a seat (because it was jam packed) my friend Seth was like "Some guy has your phone! He found it on the street!" I was bugging out. It turns out that the man found my phone on the side of the street and when Seth text me asking where I was the man responded "The person who owns this phone lost it, do you know how I can return it to the person?" So seth told him the address of DHQ and told him to leave it at the security desk. So when I got out of the meeting I went to the desk and there it was! Wow. There really are nice people in the world! How great is that? We need more kind people like that!

I encourage you during this Christmas season to do something nice for someone. Maybe buy the coffee for the person in front of you...or let someone else take the closer parking spot at the mall...or even open a door for someone and say God Bless you. Little acts of kindness can really make a big difference in this dark world. Cherish the little things in life :)

Merry Christmas! :)

You should have invited the "shady man" to the Christmas Spectacular.

Christ died for the sleazebags too.

My sister had already invited him. She always invites the men from the parking garage. He said he had to work.
