New York Temple Corps Music and Creative Arts Day Camp
This past week was the second ever music and creative arts day camp at the New York Temple Corps. Captains Billy and Annalise Francis along with their youthworkers Jen and Pratik are doing awesome things with their young kids from the city. We had a very busy schedule for these kids but it was loads of fun. We did singing, devotions, theory, dance, drama, art, ceramics, piano, guitar, brass lessons, swimming and gym time at the YMCA and our favorite time of the day, the XBOX ROOM! A lot of these kids come from broken homes so for them to come to the corps all day for the whole week was good for them. They all loved it! The kids really grew on me, I love them all! I was actually sad that the week had come to an end. The last day the youngest girl came up to me and said "I don't want to leave." Awww that hit me. They are awesome children and I really think that if they continue this program and they continue coming to the corps that they will truely grow up to be great christians. You should have heard some of them during devotions. Captain Billy asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up and about half of them said pastors :) of course they all thought of that after the first kid said it :) They are great though. We had a great week. Please pray for these kids.
This is a group shot of them on Sunday morning.

How Deep The Fathers Love For Us
How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will nost boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the man upon a cross

The Circus!!!!!!
Friday night was The Salvation Army Night at Madison Square Garden also known as the Night of 10,000 smiling faces!!! Ringling Brothers Circus was awesome. The Greater New York Youth Chorus sang the National Anthem, which was pretty cool.. I'm going to attempt to put the video of it on here.
